Welcome to the home page for Dr. John Lennox. John has been working in theatre professionally for the past twenty years. He is the owner of Lennox Theatrical Consultants, which offers a variety of services for theatre and film. John is also the owner and lead instructor for Lennox Academy, where he teaches various styles of Western Martial Arts.

He has been a college professor for the past seventeen years, and has taught classes at Purdue University, Lansing Community College, Wayne State University, Jackson Community College, Centenary College, Spring Arbor University and University of Phoenix. He worked as the director of the Western Community Arts Center for eleven years, where he was responsible for all technical aspects of production. John has also acted professionally, and is an award winning, certified fight director with Art of Combat, inc. He is the author of A History of Stage Swordplay: Shakespeare to the Birth of Film. John has taught workshops in stage combat, historical fencing and maritime boarding actions throughout the United States, in Canada, the U.K. and Europe. He is also available to teach workshops on a variety of theatrical subjects, including: Theatre History, Acting, Directing, Shakespeare and Theatre Management. John has worked extensively in the independent film industry as a stunt coordinator. He played the title role in the independent film "Dog" in 2008.
